WOMEN'S HEALTH THERAPIES:
Complicated Pregnacies:
Many medications can be given safely in the home to treat the compromised or high risk pregnant patient. Some of these include
terbutaline and betamethasone for premature labor, Hydration therapy or TPN for the nutritionally compromised patient due to
excessive nausea and vomiting. Patient and caregivers are given skilled instruction on infusion techniques with nursing support
available. Home care therapy can prevent lengthy hospitalizations that the complicated pregnancy can cause.
Additional Women’s Health therapies are available from our Apothecare Division including
Hormone Replacement Therapy and
Dermatology Skin Care Applications.
Services include:
- 24-hour support service with Nursing and Pharmacy staff.
- Provision of equipment.
- Delivery service.
- Clinical assessment and monitoring.
- Laboratory testing and monitoring.
- Liaison between Physician and patient.
- Education and training for patient and caregiver.
We provide a coordinated "team approach" offering support, reassurance and integrated medical services for all our
Women's Health therapy patients.
