PAIN MANAGEMENT:
Advanced technology now allows for continuous or intermittent self-administration of narcotic analgesics in the home to provide pain
relief associated with many illnesses. A patient-controlled analgesic pump (PCA) or portable IV pump is utilized. There are many routes
of administration that are now utilized including: Intravenous, Intrathecal, Epidural, or Subcutaneous. Patients can remain in the comfort
of their own home and receive treatment for the relief of pain.
Our skilled Nursing and Pharmacy staff will coordinate efforts with the patient, caregiver and Physician to ensure a pain management delivery
system to meet the needs of the patient. Our pain management programs can be coordinated with other medication needs as well as nutritional
