DOBUTAMINE CARDIAC MANAGEMENT:
Dobutamine is used for short-term management of heart failure due to depressed contractility from organic heart disease, or,
for patients with poor cardiac performance. It can be administered safely in the home with a stand-up or portable infusion
pump providing continuous medication via a central IV catheter. Dobutamine can also be administered with other medications
to assist with cardiac performance improvement.
Services include:
- 24-hour support service with Nursing and Pharmacy staff.
- Provision of equipment.
- Delivery service
- Clinical assessment and monitoring.
- Laboratory testing and monitoring.
- Liaison between Physician and patient.
- Education and training for patient and caregiver.
We provide a coordinated "team approach" offering support, reassurance and integrated medical services for all our
cardiac patients.
