ANTIBIOTIC THERAPY:
Short and long-term IV antibiotic therapy can be administered in the home with portable, easy to use pumps, by means of
gravity or IV push method . Patients are able to remain mobile and still get their daily dose(s) of antibiotics while at home to
avoid unnecessary hospitalization. Patients and family members are taught infusion techniques to facilitate independence
and minimize disruption of normal daily activities.
Services include:
- 24-hour support service with Nursing and Pharmacy staff.
- Provision of equipment.
- Delivery service
- Clinical assessment and monitoring.
- Laboratory testing and monitoring.
- Liaison between Physician and patient.
- Education and training for patient and caregiver.
We provide a coordinated "team approach" offering support, reassurance and integrated medical services for our
antibiotic therapy patients.
